I don’t really know what this is yet.
For years, I thought some skinny, Taco Bell-loving guy who goes by Tubby, ironically, would handle this.
I’ve always been fascinated by the people who made music around me in Alaska. The artists I listened to, the bands I saw, the records I bought, and the friends I made over art. It feels like we’re distant from the rest of the world, and the community music gave me is something I want to share, preserve, and pass on—inspire kids to hold shows in their school gyms, ask their churches if they can make demonic screams in their masses, and put 5 on it.
So this is a place to archive it, talk about it, and remember it and share it with the youth and the elderly who missed out. Look for archives and podcasts/interviews soon.
